Professional statement

Sage Kramer-Urner, LMSW, is a queer and neurodivergent therapist with experience serving a diverse clientele. They hold an MSW from the Columbia School of Social Work, where they focussed their studies on clinical work. Sage has been trained in both behavioral and cognitive approaches, as well as more bottom-up therapeutic techniques, and their therapeutic style reflects an eclectic blend of these modalities.

Sage has experience working with those experiencing eating disorders, depressive symptoms, anxiety, chronic pain, social difficulties, family-of-origin wounds, and many other complex challenges. Sage is proud to serve clients who are neurodivergent and works to de-center neurotypical expectations when establishing goals with them. Sage's therapeutic approach is LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, and welcoming of individuals in non-traditional relationships and families. Sage celebrates body diversity and works to actively counter forces such as fatphobia and ableism in her work.
