Salina helps young adults and adults who struggle with anxiety, work stress, dating anxiety and self-esteem. People struggling with anxiety may have thoughts constantly centering around what could go wrong, have fear of making a mistake or failing. They might lie awake at night replaying memories from throughout the day with anxious thoughts robbing their energy, time and peace of mind. These anxious thoughts can make them doubt themselves and can have a negative impact in their personal and professional relationships.
Salina works with her clients to reduce anxiety’s impact in their daily lives through a therapy modality called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In CBT, clients learn how to change their thought patterns to avoid self-shaming and hypercritical thoughts that can lower their self-esteem and self-confidence. Instead clients learn how to create new thought patterns that can reduce anxiety and learn to take positive actions in their daily lives. Salina also provides her clients with a safe space where she takes time to learn about their unique concerns and needs. She provides a space for them to explore and gain insight of what’s making them feel anxious and overwhelmed. Often, talking through emotions can help clients find relief. Paired with skill-building from CBT and other therapy modalities like mindfulness practices, clients learn how to find meaning in their lives and manage their anxieties, reduce self-doubt and gain relief.
Salina earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University. She is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional and also has additional training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. She is dedicated in helping you reduce and manage anxiety in your life so that you can get relief, gain peace of mind and feel more satisfied in your daily life. It's possible.
