Professional statement

Hi, my name is Salina Grilli. I’m a therapist and founder of Manhattan Modern Therapy.

I specialize in treating young adults with anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and trauma. Many of my clients come to therapy looking for skills to quell anxious thoughts, navigate challenging life transitions, and improve their relationships/dating.

My approach to therapy is unique. I joke with my clients that "I'm not your average therapist." I actually talk back and provide gentle feedback and skills to help my clients feel better NOW. Interventions utilized include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I am also mindful of the unique challenges that New Yorkers face and allow for flexible scheduling and tailor each session to your specific needs and goals. This means you won't be in therapy forever!
