Samantha Osborne is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor based in Asheville, NC where she supports teens and adults with anxiety. She sees clients from all professions, and she loves working with high achievers and perfectionists. Many of Samantha’s clients come in to address anxiety, perfectionism, and stress.
Samantha’s approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based approach that focuses on helping clients understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected. In session, Samantha focuses on teaching clients how to identify thoughts and use tools and techniques that can be applied in stressful situations. Her goal is to help clients use tools independently so they can manage symptoms without support.
Samantha's style is engaging, goal-oriented, and non-judgemental. When clients first start therapy, she focuses on establishing a strong relationship and comfortable environment where they feel safe and heard.
Samantha received their MS, EDs from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has worked at local inpatient clinics, treating men and women with chronic mental health conditions and supervising other providers. Samantha is committed to maintaining an inclusive practice. In addition to her Asheville office, Samantha offers the flexibility of remote therapy sessions in North Carolina, Colorado, and Texas, and welcomes new clients to her online practice.
