Professional statement

Since earning her Master’s in Social Work in 2018, Sarah has dedicated her career to supporting adolescents and young adults. Her experience as a school counselor (2018-2024) allowed her to help students face personal and academic challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, family dynamics, relationship issues, trauma, self-harm, low self-esteem, anger, and self-reflection. Sarah believes each client is the expert of their own life and tailors her approach to respect each individual’s unique experiences and strengths. Her style emphasizes active listening, empathy, and collaborative goal-setting, empowering clients to develop tools to face challenges with resilience. Sarah’s aim is to create a supportive environment where clients feel valued, understood, and capable of growth, fostering self-awareness and equipping them to navigate life’s complexities with confidence.
