Professional statement

Sarah Meckler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in relationships, anxiety, gender identity, family issues, and LGTBQIA-related challenges. She works at BeWell in Midtown Manhattan and also has a practice in Brooklyn Heights. She has extensive experience working with young adults, but she also works with adolescents and adults across the lifespan.

Sarah works from a psychodynamic perspective by helping her clients explore the root causes of their challenges and/or symptoms. She helps them identify thought patterns and become more aware of what their triggers are. Sarah also works with her clients to better understand how past experiences have influenced who they are today and how they approach their relationships.

With over a decade of experience, Sarah is passionate about the work she does and cares about each of her clients. She is supportive and offers a nonjudgmental space for individuals. She ultimately wants her clients to live an authentic life. Before working at BeWell, Sarah worked with young adults in a nonprofit setting. Her office is conveniently located near the Herald Square station, accessible by the B, D, F, Q, M, N, R, W or 6 train to 33rd St.

Message to clients

Hi, I'm so glad we connected. My name is Sarah. I work with people to identify patterns in their life that hold them back, so they are able to gain a better understanding of what they want to change and how to get there. I focus on creating a safe, open-minded, and welcoming environment for all clients along their path toward self-discovery. I look forward to exploring together how your unique patterns impact you, and how we will open up new doors to living a more fulfilled life.
