Sarah has previously had experience working with clients who have experienced trauma, have chronic illnesses and autoimmune disorders, and who are dealing with symptoms of anxiety and extreme stress. Through exploring triggers, past experiences, cultural and societal beliefs and coping strategies, Sarah helps clients to take more control over their lives. In addition, Sarah has experience with teaching mindfulness, somatic (body) focused, and creative coping skills that she utilizes during counseling to help clients to experience and recognize their emotions. Sarah takes a holistic and person-centered approach, so that clients can focus on all aspects of their wellbeing.
