Message to clients

I know from experience that asking for help and talking to someone can be difficult, especially when we talk about the messages and pressure we receive culturally and socially. I come from a Caribbean household where although therapy was never necessarily bashed it was not sought out. I grew up around countless people who would negatively speak about the idea of stepping outside of your home for support in guidance in the being the best you. But as you read this, I want you to know that you do not have to walk alone through your journey. I believe the therapeutic relationship is a partnership, and we will work on your identified goals collaboratively.

Navigating life through the different stages we encounter can get confusing and complicated. I know at different times we've heard questions like “What do you want for yourself?” Or “Who do you want to be?” So today, I ask you “What is it that you want for you and how can I help?”

My main purpose and only focus is to guide you during your journey of becoming the best version of yourself. As you go and grow through your process, know that I am in your corner, as you steer the wheel and while I co-pilot.
