Professional statement

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years experience. I believe that finding a therapist that you can trust and feel comfortable with is half the battle in the journey of therapy. My first priority is just that! I am passionate about creating a safe and non judgmental environment so that talking about difficult topics aren’t so difficult. I have had the pleasure of working in a variety of settings including an emergency department, inpatient psychiatric unit, outpatient clinic, residential treatment center and private practice. My experience has taught me that no problem is too big or too small to face when you have support.

I am committed to helping people overcome anxiety, depression and other stresses that affect all of us at some time in our lives. Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues, I draw from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation.

Message to clients

My goal is for you to feel supported and heard. I am very down to earth and pride myself on creating a laid back, comfortable environment. My style to therapy is finding a balance between listening and problem solving. I will support you by helping you process your thoughts and feelings as well as provide feedback and guidance to support your goals.
