Shanon Roberts

Dr. Shanon Roberts is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Tampa, FL. Through her 30 plus years of working with couples and her personal research in the dissertation in her PhD body of work, Dr. Shanon developed the Marriage Momentum Program. This unique format starts with her 2 Day Marriage Made Whole Intensive in Tampa with a follow up program that can be done virtually. The intensive format is a powerful tool to bring immediate relief, instilling hope and is the most effective approach in getting couples unstuck and on the right path at the beginning of the counseling experience with follow up to ensure the success that this is walked out.

Through her real, warm and sometimes humorous approach, Dr. Shanon connects well with both males and females. Her approach is enriched with empathy and acceptance even while addressing the most sensitive of subject matters bring couples from places of betrayal, hurt and conflict to a place of re-igniting romance and passion again. As an Emotionally Focused Therapy trained clinician, Dr. Shanon sees 90% success with the couples that complete her program.

Dr. Shanon’s approach is for couples who may have tried the typical counseling format of one-hour a week and haven’t been able to make headway on the core issues creating pain in their relationship. Her program incorporates faith-based, spiritual practices to the degree that the couple desires and is comfortable.
