Professional statement

Sharon works with clients who are motivated to make changes in their lives. She strives to support open-minded individuals who are willing to be challenged as much as they are supported. Her clients are looking for someone to root for them as they navigate through life transitions and work towards their goals.

Sharon specializes in LatinX mental health, LGBTQIA mental health, addiction and ADHD. She utilizes a trauma conscious lens as she combines talk therapy with embodied, expressive therapies to support their clients in reaching their goals.

Sharon believes therapy can be a really transformative space when we authentically show up for ourselves. Sharon truly feels honored to witness her client's life experiences as they reach they're goals.

Sharon is currently available via Telehealth and "Walk and Talk". Please be in touch if you think we could be a good fit.

Message to clients

Finding a therapist whom you truly connect with can be a daunting task. Opening yourself up while not being sure if the person on the call with you can hold what is bringing you to therapy is incredibly scary, and brave. I am honored when prospective clients feel a connection to me that they are willing to open their hearts to me a little. You can expect me to honor that bravery from the first outreach you make.

My hope for our work together, should you choose to embark on it, is that you may enter a therapeutic space in your life where you feel held, supported, held accountable for your goals and the changes you aim to make. I hope that we are able to not only build a strong therapeutic connection to engage in the work which brought you to seek services, and also bring you closer to the goals and changes you aim to make in your life.

Don't hesitate to make the changes you want, get the support that you need, and find someone who works for you! Reach out to me with any questions! I look forward to our work together.
