Sheila Lebrato
She/Her/Hers
Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHCShe/Her/Hers
Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHCSheila Lebrato is licensed in the state of Michigan but also works with adult clients worldwide, particularly the Gulf region. Many of her clients have reached out for support while in early recovery, to work through relationship issues, to deal with anger challenges, as well as issues of trauma. Her clients have also come to her for help dealing with anxiety, depression, and navigating life's obstacle course.
Because each and every client has a different history and different treatment goals, Sheila ensures that sessions are tailored to meet every client's unique needs. First and foremost, her approach is Person Centered which means the client is in control and the counselor facilitates without judgment and with compassion. All modalities are evidence-based and Solution-focused, drawing on the the client's personal strengths as resources to achieve goals. Sessions are collaborative as she works with clients to uncover and understand the root causes that have kept clients stuck in unhealthy and/or unproductive patterns.
As human beings, we all want to be heard, seen, and respected so Sheila is dedicated to creating a therapeutic environment where all three of those basic human needs are met. As a trauma-informed therapist, she is especially sensitive to providing sessions that respect the client's history and experience.
Sheila believes that mental health care should be accessible and affordable which is why all sessions are online using a HIPAA-compliant platform and a flat fee is charged. To make things easy, clients can schedule, attend sessions, pay, and message Sheila all through the client portal. She does not accept insurance.
