Sheylah (She/Her) is a psychotherapist serving clients in Massachusetts and Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Psychology and earned a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Sheylah has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, and trauma.
Sheylah worked in community mental health for many years, and most recently worked as a clinician, conducting testing and working with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental, behavioral, and mood disorders to improve communication, social skills, and daily living skills at a community mental health center in Florida.
In her therapy sessions, Sheylah emphasizes a strength-based and person-centered approach. Her goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for clients who are navigating life's challenges. Sheylah empowers her clients to cultivate a greater sense of self and deeper connections to others through heartfelt conversations and evidence-based approaches.

Autism spectrum disorder - Support understanding the diagnosis and related challenges and strengths; skill-building in areas of daily routine, transitions, coping with overwhelming sensory experiences, social skills, and emotion identification and regulation
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Parenting - Helping parents develop and implement strategies to address challenges that arise throughout childrearing; managing stress and increasing support
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
