Dr. Danzig is a highly knowledgeable and experienced therapist and provides empathetic care for clients across the age range. She has particular expertise in the treatment of teens, young adults in their 20s dealing with work and relationship struggles, and new and expectant mothers. Dr. Danzig is an expert in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and specializes in supporting individuals and families going through infertility, pregnancy, or postpartum challenges.

She also practices Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Psychodynamic psychotherapy, encouraging clients to reflect on their beliefs, values, and needs. She has an open, warm style when working with clients and enjoys collaborating with her clients as they work towards their mental health goals.

Clients leave therapy with Dr. Danzig feeling understood and respected, and armed with the skills they need to get through life’s challenges.

Message to clients

In my work as a therapist, I employ an integrative approach to treatment. I strive to utilize my patients' current struggles to help them learn more effective ways to cope and reflect on the patterns and themes that emerge so they can develop a deeper understanding of themselves. I focus on symptom relief at the outset to ensure that my patients have the coping skills they need to decrease their anxiety or mood symptoms. I am an open and warm therapist and strive to make each of my patients feel seen, heard, and understood.

I am comfortable working with individuals of all ages but the majority of my practice is devoted to the treatment of teens and young adults as well as women in different stages of their reproductive journey. As a mom of four, I enjoy working with new and expectant moms to help them gain the confidence to become the parents they strive to be while not losing themselves in the process.

I am currently only seeing patients through telehealth but plan to return to in-person sessions in the near future.
