Sienna Mauve Gregan
She/Her/Hers
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFTShe/Her/Hers
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFTSienna Mauve works from a humanistic, integrative approach. The way she views therapy is to honor the process of taking disowned or unresolved aspects (or parts) of the self and bring them together in order to help one find their "true authentic self." This process reduces defense mechanisms, and supports each client to integrate those protective parts in order to engage with the world, themselves and the people they care about. Sienna bring presence, as well as unconditional personal regard to all her clients.
An imperative piece for Sienna as the therapist, is learning and honoring the background and history of the client. Finding out what they hold sacred, their particular beliefs and history and treating each client as the unique individual they are.
The main orientations and counseling approaches Sienna works from are Humanistic, Gestalt, IFS and Transpersonal. When working from a Humanistic frame, Sienna is meeting the clients as equals, knowing that there is a lot to learn from each other and remembering that we are all working on ourselves all the time. Sienna has always held the perspective that the client is the expert, and the therapist is merely there as a guide on their journey.
Currently, Sienna is offering Telehealth therapy to clients from all walks of life.
