Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical, LCSW-C Specialties • Insurance & Fees • LocationsSilke Rudolf-Andre is an LCSW in Las Vegas, Nevada. She works with teenagers & adults. Many of Silke’s clients come in when they are experiencing high levels of anxiety, depression, or increased irritability often caused by life stressors. Silke is particularly passionate about serving adults who are ready to work on themselves. She also has advanced training in Trauma Therapy and is applying Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization, also known as EMDR as a treatment to help clients move forward in their healing process.
Silke is trained in EMDR, which uses eye movement or tapping to change the way a memory is stored in the brain and allows the client to re-process it. The results are a reduction in vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories. In a session, Silke focuses on identifying the client’s negative beliefs, forming a treatment plan, and giving them the option to use EMDR to reprocess events associated with these beliefs.
Silke’s style is eclectic. Silke is European, has practiced yoga for years and incorporates breathing techniques, meditation, and other coping skills into treatment. When a client first comes in, whether this is via telehealth or in person, Silke’s focus is on making the client feel at ease, assessing the client’s mental health, and the client’s goals for treatment. Silke is very personable and provides a relationship that is warm and supportive.
Silke Rudolf-Andre received her master’s degree from the University of New England, Maine. She gained experience as an intern working for a Mental Health Clinic in Las Vegas and in 2021 opened her private practice.
