Solomon Richberg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Orlando, FL. Solomon enjoys helping clients to build their self-esteem and confidence. Often, individuals arrive at Solomon’s therapy practice looking for a way to feel more comfortable with themselves when around others. When they feel like they aren’t worthy of attention, affirmation, or love, these individuals might become highly anxious, depressed, or resort to anger or frustration. When working with Solomon, clients become empowered to feel good about themselves and to sort through their current life stressors to create a balanced, engaging life.
Solomon’s approach to therapy begins with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Clients learn how to understand how thoughts connect to feelings, which in turn connect to actions or behaviors. Solomon teaches clients how to identify cognitive distortions that lead to self-criticism, judgment, or negative self-talk, which takes a toll on confidence and self-worth. By changing these thought patterns, clients develop a more positive self-image while growing their self-compassion. Solomon also teaches clients effective coping skills for moments of distress, such as during a conflict with another person or when in the grips of anxiety. He encourages clients to practice mindfulness activities to boost their self-awareness and to ground themselves.
Solomon earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. He is a compassionate, affirming therapist who believes that everyone deserves emotional support as they navigate through life. He has nearly ten years of experience working with clients and is passionate about helping clients build the assertiveness they need to feel confident and comfortable.
