Professional statement

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and trained Sex therapist with experience working with individuals, couples and families. . I work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, parenting concerns, separation/divorce, sexual/physical/emotional abuse, adolescent school and behavioral issues, workplace struggles, life transitions and loss & grief support. Throughout therapy we will work together to identify challenges, belief & behavior patterns that limit you and your relationships, identify ineffective communication patterns and look for opportunities to change.

My philosophy is one of kindness, transparency, and empowerment and I strive to create a meaningful therapeutic connection with my clients. I use a combination of therapy models and work with you to individually develop an effective, personalized approach to therapy. Sessions are a space where you can feel safe and open to explore whatever may be difficult or challenging for you, without judgment. My goal is to give you realistic tools to cope with stressors and form a healthy relationship with yourself and the people in your life.
