Professional statement

Stefany has worked with different communities in a variety of settings. This has helped her develop a nonjudgmental practice. She has had the privilege of listening to people's most vulnerable thoughts and feelings. She is a more empathetic person because of these experiences. Stefany uses the knowledge she learned in graduate school and the practical strategies she picked up working in the field to tailor her practice to her clients.

Message to clients

I want to make therapy less intimidating. I strive to create an open nonjudgmental space during sessions. I like to center my clients and will often ask for feedback to ensure their needs are being met. I hope you will feel supported and validated during our sessions.

While working with different communities, I consistently saw that there was a huge gap in mental health services. Additionally, people that were connected to mental health services were dissatisfied with the lack of diversity and accessibility in the field. I decided to become a therapist to help fill some of that gap.
