Message to clients

My passion has always been helping others, which played a significant role in choosing my career. I grew up in Durham, North Carolina, in an enormous family. My family describes me as a natural-born caretaker and, as one of the eldest cousins of my generation, I unknowingly began practicing for my career-long before I knew my path. They have always looked to me for encouragement, advice, support, and diffusing the occasional disagreement. I take much pride in my ability to assist situations in a non-discriminatory fashion, catering to all ages, backgrounds, and preferences.

It is my goal to teach clients that, although they cannot control every aspect of the world around them, they can control how they interpret and deal with their environment. My favorite aspect of being a therapist is guiding clients to engage in healthier thought patterns by recognizing negative and unrealistic thoughts that can have a detrimental influence on mood while developing coping skills that can be useful both now and in the future.

I have a strong desire to help clients achieve self-confidence with individuality, leadership by setting achievable goals, and wellness in establishing routines that limit stress. At this time, I am exclusively offering remote therapy sessions and accepting new clients.
