Stephanie Landry is a licensed independent clinical social worker and founder of Approach Therapy and Wellness, LLC. She is based in Marblehead, MA and is independently licensed to see clients in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. She works with adolescents and adults, age 16 and up. Clients come to Stephanie for help with anxiety, depression, OCD, perfectionism, ADHD, disordered eating/eating disorders, and body image issues (or more accurately, internalized weight stigma). Stephanie is particularly passionate about working with college students.
Stephanie’s style is both warm and direct. Clients are encouraged to actively participate in their healing process. They will learn about coping skills with Stephanie in sessions and practice using them outside of sessions. She is skilled at helping clients identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress, supporting clients in committing to actions that resonate with their values and result in a reduction of avoidance behaviors, and assisting clients with nervous system regulation.
Stephanie has experience working at multiple levels of care ranging from outpatient, to residential, to inpatient treatment. She welcomes individuals of all genders, sexual orientations, races, body sizes, physical abilities, and neurotypes to treatment. She has immediate openings virtual as well as in-person therapy in the north shore area of Massachusetts.
