She is intentional in cultivating a therapeutic relationship inviting clients to feel safe to heal and rediscover themselves. Stephanie utilizes a strength based decolonized, social justice oriented therapeutic lens and integrates the following therapeutic approaches EMDR, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, Somatic therapy, Brainspotting, Attachment-Based therapy and Energy Psychology. In her couples’ work, Stephanie utilizes Gottman strategies and Prepare/Enrich to support couples in evaluating and assessing their relationship. She helps couples who are facing issues like communication, intimacy, and complex trauma.
Stephanie is a certified trauma specialist, having received several trainings and certifications in treatments such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Integrative Somatic Parts Work (IFS). She received her master’s degree from Saint Louis University in Clinical Social Work and has worked with BIPOC and LGBTQIA individuals and families since 2015.
Stephanie cares deeply for each of her clients, approaching their experience in therapy from a holistic standpoint. In addition to setting goals in treatment, she also ensures clients are doing well energetically, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Stephanie integrates metaphysical or energetic healing into her work, challenging clients to recognize their own power.
