Stephanie Podasca, MA is a Romanian-American counselor and artist living in Portland, OR. She is pre-licensed in both Oregon and Washington allowing her to work with clients in both states.
Her practice, Whole Sky Therapy, aims to offer a compassionate and non-pathologizing environment to support people’s healing. In working with adults, Stephanie views their concerns from a trauma-informed lens and blends theories based on western neurobiology and eastern wisdom. Clients can expect to learn helpful tools to stabilize their difficult emotions and make progress towards their behavioral goals, all while cultivating meaningful self-care and self-compassion for every part of their journey. Whole Sky Therapy is committed to the principles of nonjudgment, creativity, nonviolence, and organicity.
Stephanie has a diverse background working with a range of individuals in doing community service throughout the years. She has worked with Recovery Dharma, a Buddhist recovery program, the Children’s Healing Art Project, Magic Wheelchair, and has volunteered on the National Suicide Hotline. Other professional interests include art therapy, holistic and somatic approaches, attachment theory, psychedelic therapy and integration, and staying connected to nature.
Stephanie has flexible availability for regular counseling sessions, is highly communicative, and plans to stick with telehealth for the foreseeable future.

Women's issues - Therapy tailored to common concerns among women; providing a safe and understanding space to address life challenges, stressors, and questions around identity as a woman
Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
Addiction - Coping with emotional discomfort and suffering; reducing or abstaining from unwanted behaviors such as unhealthy gambling or shopping
Life transitions - Coping with difficult or impactful life changes, such as moving to a new area, relationship transitions, child rearing, or career changes; learning self-care to better manage resulting stress

As a registered associate counselor, I am not able to accept any payment through insurance. A reimbursement statement may be provided, but benefit payouts are solely determined by your insurance provider. In most cases, insurance companies do not reimburse for services rendered by a supervised therapist.
