She is grounded in humanistic therapy which is seeing the person first. She also pulls from other approach's. She have worked with individuals who have experienced trauma during their life time. She trained in EMDR for any individual who have experienced PTSD trauma, or complex trauma. Family therapy through Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
Stephanie is focused on ensuring that her clients see and real progress: her style is interactive, non-judgmental, fun, cognitive and emotional focus that clients are the experts on where they are now, and where they want to go. she works closely with clients to reframe the narrative of their life in a way that increases self-confidence and compassion.
Stephanie's first priority in starting with a new client is ensuring that they feel comfortable, open, seen and heard to create a positive experience. As a seasoned telehealth provider, she offers the convenience of remote sessions to help make therapy easily achieved. Also, she provides in person sessions in her Pittsburgh office.
