Tanasia Betts is a licensed mental health counselor and Brooklyn native. Tanasia provides a safe space for adults from all walks of life. Many of Tanasia’s clients come in when they recognize their trauma has started to manifest into barriers to living their life fully & freely. Most clients struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or lack of purpose because of unresolved trauma. Tanasia is particularly passionate about serving people of color, people of faith, and the LGBTQIA community.
Tanasia is trained in Cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, which reveals our core beliefs that life has shaped. As well as evidence-based skills to manage life stressors and maintain emotional wellness. This approach supports clients in taking control of their lives by rewiring the brain and exploring skills to find inner peace.
