Tanya brings a person centered approach to counseling, tailoring treatment plans and approaches for each client using different modalities as are appropriate. People who seek out counseling come from diverse backgrounds and experiences and with that in mind, Tanya ensures that her approaches are intersectional, inclusive, and stigma free.
Tanya graduated with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New Jersey City University and has worked in public health initiatives in New York City. She has experience working with many different issues that bring people to counseling including trauma, substance misuse, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, LGBTQ+, and stress.
Tanya is currently available for remote sessions (video or telephone) and has availability on weekdays with sessions beginning at 10:30AM and the last session at 5:30PM.
