Psychologist, PsyD Specialties • Insurance & Fees • LocationsDr. Livengood Psychology, PsyD, PLLC, is owned and operated by Dr. Tara Livengood and spouse, Mr. Brian Foster of East Tennessee. Dr. Livengood is a native Texan who graduated in 2017 with a doctorate in clinical psychology. After exploring the country and working in various settings such as aging services, corrections, forensic, psychiatric hospitals and the Veterans Affairs, she recently decided to return to Central Texas and make the career change to open a private practice. With a broad range of experience, Dr. Livengood, PsyD, PLLC hopes to meet the psychological needs of Central Texas communities and beyond.
Dr. Livengood Psychology, PsyD, PLLC has expanded their practice to welcome a new and highly experienced clinician in an effort to increase our ability to provide access to the services we offer and help more people in need. Dr. Judith Krop is a native of South Florida and began her career as a marriage and family therapist. Later in life, she broadened her clinical repertoire by obtaining a doctorate in clinical psychology. By expanding her clinical skills, Dr. Krop enjoys treating a broad spectrum of behavioral health issues across the lifespan.
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Couples counseling - Addressing relationship challenges and life transitions; strengthening communication and feelings of security, desire, connection, and love
Child mental health - Specialized strategies for common childhood disorders including attention issues, attachment problems, behavioral disorders, learning disorders, autism spectrum diagnoses, and feeding or elimination issues.
Gender identity & transgender health - Exploring gender identity, including trans, non-binary, and gender variant identities; support throughout the process of transition
Suicidal ideation - Support living with intense pain, distress, and feelings of persistent hopelessness; strengthening meaningful relationships and experiences in one’s life. Self-harm: Building skills and supports to cope with emotional pain, suffering, and numbness; increasing positive meaningful life experiences.
