Tara Quick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, serving clients online in Tennessee and Georgia and in-person in Nashville, Tennessee, conveniently located in the Crieve Hall neighborhood. Tara's passion is to empower women who feel burned out, exhausted, or spiritually unmoored to find confidence, peace, and grounding. Tara specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, and Christian spiritual issues. Coming into therapy, many of Tara's clients describe feeling inadequate or like an imposter. Many of her clients also express experiencing a sense of dread or are navigating a spiritual crisis. After working with Tara, many clients report an increased sense of confidence, clarity, and direction.
Tara has over a decade of experience in providing compassionate, evidenced-based care. Using an integrative, personalized approach, Tara is a Christian, strengths-based, attachment-oriented therapist who practices EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Ego State therapies (commonly referred to as “Parts Work”) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Tara's approach is wholistic, considering mind, body, and spirit.
Tara's greatest priority is providing a safe space for you to feel understood and seen. With the compassion she finds in her faith, she supports you, while honoring your self-determination, wherever your journey may lead. Tara normalizes that wrestling with your faith is a normal and healthy part of spiritual development. And, she educates that anxiety, depression and “stuckness” are not signs of personal weakness, but make sense in light of your story. Tara supports you to find healing through a more adaptive and empowering narrative than the one that has you stuck.
