Professional statement

Taylor Cnudde is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate committed to individual and relational healing. Her clients sometimes find themselves stuck in unhelpful patterns or held back by painful traumatic experiences. Taylor explores unhelpful coping patterns and old wounds in a curious and empathetic way, creating space for clients to process and heal.

Many of Taylors clients navigate feelings of anxiety, unworthiness, depression, and burnout that have become too much, and are negatively impacting their work and relationships. She works with clients to process emotions and learn new tools/coping strategies to their heal relationships with themselves and others.

Taylors therapeutic approach integrates traditional talk therapy with mindfulness and research based interventions. Sessions are tailored to fit the unique concerns of each client. She draws from her training in Accelerated Experimental Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), PACT, Gottman Marital Therapy, and other modalities, in order to help clients access their internal resources and find healing and fulfillment.

Taylor is committed to creating a safe space that welcomes you just as you are. She is sex positive, LGBTQ+ affirming, HAES aligned, and supportive of non-traditional relationships. In addition to her office in Austin, Texas, Taylor offers the flexibility of remote therapy sessions, and welcomes new clients to her online practice. She charges $125 for 50 minute sessions.

Message to clients

I am so grateful you’re here. I am passionate about working with adult individual and couples on a variety of issues. Together we will set therapeutic goals and process your feelings & experiences. My goal is to deeply understand you and validate your story. Many of the "problems" clients come to therapy with were actually once solutions to difficult life circumstances. We develop maladaptive coping mechanisms (addictions, rage, trust issues, etc.) as a way to survive. In therapy we can explore and replace the unhelpful patterns that are no longer serving you, so you can enjoy a more authentic, fulfilling life.

Couples therapy is a place for you and your partner(s) to create a deeper bond by exploring your attachment style and learning tools to better connect and communicate. I aim to meet you where you are as a couple and guide you toward a more intimate, loving relationship.

Please reach out with any questions. I look forward to being part of your journey.
