Dr. Amble provides compassionate, specialist care for clients who are experiencing emotional distress or overwhelmed by demands. She helps families and couples to heal from relationship ruptures and build healthier communication and connection. Dr. Amble extends a warm welcome to BIPOC, veterans, and the LGBTQ community. She takes pride in diversity and sees clients from all racial, ethnic, and religious/ spiritual backgrounds.

Dr. Amble’s approach to therapy draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based therapy practices. She teaches them how to manage their thoughts to decrease their negative emotions or harmful behaviors and to challenge harmful beliefs which are keeping them stuck. Dr. Amble enjoys helping people to get moving in their lives and manage obstacles of procrastination and low motivation. She also helps clients to strengthen their mind-body connection and awareness through meditation and mindfulness exercises. This can help clients feel grounded in the face of life stressors, physical health challenges, trauma recovery, and/or chronic pain.

Dr. Amble earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston. She believes in holistic care for her clients, which means that she encourages clients to consider all areas of life: body, mind, relationship, and spirit. By helping clients grow their toolbox, she supports clients toward living more fulfilling lives aligned with their values.

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, trying new foods, watching movies and sports, and walking trails. She is an avid reader, with an ever-changing list of audiobooks. Dr. Amble values quality time with her husband, family, friends, and three dogs.
