Professional statement

Teresa Wilson is a licensed professional counselor in Texas and enjoys helping people heal from the pain of trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, anger, and life problems.

There is no shame in needing help to work through current issues, years of painful experiences, or trauma. Teresa understands that we are all human and need to reach out to someone for help from time to time. Seeking therapy can be difficult and scary, but rest assured you are making the right choice and taking a massive step in the right direction.

In each session, you will spend time learning, discussing, and processing current and past issues.

Techniques Teresa often uses are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), with some mindfulness mixed in. She offers Biblical Counseling as well.

Teresa thrives on helping people heal from their trauma. Even if you believe anxiety and depression are all you struggle with, there is typically more to the story. There may be things in your past that need resolution because they unknowingly impact your life.
