Professional statement

Tiffany D. Glover, an MA, LPC located in Charleston, SC, provides a number of therapeutic services which include treatment of, but not limited to the following: Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Adjustment Disorders, Stress Management, and Self-Esteem. She sees adult clients ranging in age from 18 - 65 and all services at this time are conducted through telehealth.

Tiffany received her Associate’s Degree in Human Services from Trident Technical College in 2010; her Bachelor’s Degree in Community Counseling Psychology from Springfield College in 2012; her first Master’s Degree in Community Counseling Psychology from Springfield College in 2014; and her second Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling with an emphasis in Mental Health from Webster University in 2017.

Tiffany provides a free 15-minute phone consult prior to the actual initial appointment for the purposes of brief introduction and needs determination. The actual initial appointment will be more in-depth and usually 90 - 120 minutes long. Future appointments after that will be 50-60 minutes. Appointments are typically scheduled weekly or bi-weekly. Tiffany asks that all clients commit to at least weekly sessions for the first four weeks after the initial appointment. This frequency will be revisited after the four weeks to determine ongoing scheduling.

Message to clients

How would you describe yourself? Do the words that come out of your mouth when asked “so tell me about yourself” reflect all of your greater aspects or are the waters so murky that you can only see everything negative? Whether positive or negative, we are who we SAY we are, we become what we CHOOSE to speak into the atmosphere, and the US that we present in that atmosphere is our overall SELF-ESTEEM. Self-esteem is defined as “one’s overall sense of personal value and self-worth.” Healthy self-esteem matters because it’s essential for motivation, which increases one’s success, which ultimately improves one’s overall mental health.

I specialize in overcoming irrational beliefs that continue to stop the evolution of change within others. My main focus is on how adults allow debilitating thoughts to control their behaviors, adding to their existing impostor syndrome. I utilize various methods to help my clients change how they manifest their lives by speaking clarity into their future.

I must stress that I am not your "normal" therapist. I am an individual. A woman. A mother. A human. And because I never forget that I am these things FIRST, I believe I am a more well-rounded, much more grounded therapist. I am not above you....I am with you. So if you're finally ready for change, then let's make this happen....together.

Now come on and get this healing! :-)
