Tim works using research-based strategies and tools that help adults experiencing difficulty in their romantic lives, feelings of sadness, anxiety, low self-confidence and more. Tim often works with clients who have found previous therapy lacking momentum or insight.
Tim values insight and support without judgement above all else, and works to understand the unique perspective each of his clients brings, helping them figure out what is holding them back and how best to overcome it. Considering the past but working in the here and now, Tim maintains a focus on changing patterns, blending talk therapy with Cognitive Behavioral techniques. Together you will work toward your goals, while staying at a comfort level that feels right for you. Tim aims for sessions to be collaborative, uplifting, and above all, helpful.
Tim's education includes a MSW from Columbia University, an MBA from ESADE in Spain, and postgraduate training in CBT and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. He currently sees clients virtually and in-person at his office at 5th Avenue and 28th Street.
