Tim is a New York-based psychotherapist who specializes in treating depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ related issues, and compulsive or out-of-control sexual behavior. Self-esteem is often a big part of all of these issues as well.
He uses talk therapy with research-based tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, and other modalities, to work with clients who have often found previous therapy lacking in momentum or insight. Tim focuses on both support and behavioral change, and has extensive experience helping clients move forward in their lives.
Tim received his MSW from Columbia, an MBA from ESADE, and postgraduate training in CBT, Psychoanalytic Therapy, and Positive Psychology Coaching from NYC institutes including NYU and William Alanson White. He is currently finishing up a certificate in Sexual Health from the University of Michigan.
