Message to clients

I do want want to say that taking the leap to see a therapist is scary business, so know that I get it. It took me a long time to find the right therapist for me. My goal is to be authentic and casual so you feel at ease to do the work. I have worked on my own issues, and have over come and leveled up in many ways, and believe that anyone is able to do the same. I like to get right to the point, and am really amazed at how quickly clients can heal using brainspotting, which is a newer therapy that was created by David Grand, PhD in 2003 as an organic offshoot of EMDR. Brainspotting is a body based, bottoms up approach that helps to balance the inner primitive (survival/emotional) brain and outer (cognitive/thinking) brain to balance all the parts and work together for deep healing of trauma, anxiety, performance, self sabotage, and much more.

Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse

Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life

Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
