Toni has over 25 years of experience supporting clients through a wide range of mental health conditions and life situations. Many of her clients experience relationship conflicts such as excessive fighting or disagreements. Other clients recently went through a loss, whether that’s a loss of a loved one, a job, or something that brought them joy. Toni helps clients process through feelings of anxiety, depression, or lack of fulfillment in a compassionate, warm atmosphere.
Toni’s approach to therapy draws heavily from psychodynamic therapy modalities, including relational approaches. She builds trust between herself and the client from the very first session, validating their issues and encouraging them to practice self-compassion. Once the rapport is in place, Toni challenges clients to see their situations or experiences from different perspectives. She coaches clients through how to make changes to their daily routines that can benefit their moods, including incorporating effective self-care practices. She also helps clients make sense of their instincts and assumptions as they navigate their lives.
