Professional statement

Trisha Broadright is a licensed professional counselor in Texas. She understands that the first step in discovering a sense of self and developing healthy relationships can be a challenging process.

In therapy, she will work with you to understand emotional triggers that can feel overwhelming and impact daily life. She will meet you where you are and allow you to guide the emotional healing process.

She hopes to help individuals heal from unresolved traumatic encounters such as military experiences, loss of identity, sexual trauma, physical trauma, or emotional trauma. She is here to help you on your journey.

She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Acudetox, and Trauma Informed Care to treat individuals who have experienced trauma in all walks of life and who have symptoms of depression, anxiety, phobias, struggles with substances, and abuse. There is hope for you, and the results will allow you to feel freedom, peace, a sense of order in your life, and a healthy balance.

Clients can expect to learn coping skills from each session and develop emotional intelligence and a true sense of self.

Trisha is an EMDR-certified therapist trained in Trauma Informed Care. She utilizes CBT and DBT and is an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (AcuDetox).

Trisha's strengths lie in working with individuals who have experienced trauma. She has worked with first responders as well as combat veterans.
