Trisha is an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in mindfulness in the state of Colorado. She works with individuals across the lifespan with a focus on young adulthood. Many of Trisha’s clients come to her seeking guidance for holistic wellbeing. These individuals come from all walks of life and struggle with a variety of anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and general difficulty adjusting to major life changes. In Trisha’s practice, there is a particular emphasis on existential mindfulness, spiritual connection, and somatic coping skills that work best for open-minds and willing hearts wanting more than just talk-therapy.
Trisha combines her training in both western clinical psychology and eastern energy healing to meet the needs of many in a distinctly unique way. In her sessions you can expect that she will pair her awareness of clinical symptoms with skills and practices that teach self-regulation and assist with healing from the inside. Trisha draws teachable coping skills and concepts from DBT, CBT, EMDR, as well as drawing from the ancient practices of Yoga and Astrology. Each session, skill, and interaction is unique to the individual.
More than anything, clients appreciate Trisha’s candor. She is kind and compassionate and approaches her clients with straightforward honesty, levity and sincere authenticity. Trisha strives to empower her clients to understand themselves so they are fully equipped to soothe, validate and redirect themselves when needed. In her first session Trisha takes time to understand individual context and inquires about anything that is relevant to the individual and their circumstance. She strongly believes that healing is dependent on the strength of the therapeutic relationship; and is therefore intently committed to creating and maintaining a trusting and supportive relationship between client and therapist.
