Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSWVesper Jingxuan Yang is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She received a Master degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, and has been practicing as a therapist since.
Vesper, bilingual in English and Mandarin, has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient hospitals, community agencies, and welfare and human services. She particularly has experiences with immigrant and refugee populations as well as intimate partner violence victims and survivors.
Vesper specializes in trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Vesper takes a trauma-informed and holistic approach through a systematic lens. She integrates creative expression with talk-based therapies to meet the needs of each client and help them achieve their most authentic and expansive self. She approaches this work holistically with warmth, empathy, and ever developing curiosity.
On a more personal note, Vesper immigrated from China years ago, so she understands how scary and lonely transitions can be sometimes. Outside of work, She enjoys LEGO building, reading, postcrossing, and bullet journaling.
