Professional statement

Victoria Goldenberg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Garden City, NY. Victoria works with individuals who feel overwhelmed in their daily lives, whether that’s from stress, sadness, panic, or disconnection. She supports those who experienced traumatic events by helping them process what happened and how to move forward in the face of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

In sessions with Victoria, clients will learn about themselves and become more aware of the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and actions. They may discuss reasons they lack motivation to make changes or decisions. Victoria helps clients develop mental health goals and establish coping strategies to get there. If a client feels like he or she is in a “funk,” Victoria offers support in determining the cause of feeling stuck. Her sessions are practical yet compassionate.

Victoria earned her Master’s degree from Stony Brook University. She’s currently advancing her skills by studying for a PhD and has a background in perinatal mental health. Victoria aims to help individuals feel more connected to themselves and their communities by providing quality psychotherapy sessions.
