Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Perfectionism and People-Pleasing

Description

This group helps adults break free from perfectionism and people-pleasing, which often stem from harsh self-judgment, fear, and rigid rules. These patterns can lead to depression, anxiety, stress, burnout, and relationship issues. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), you’ll learn practical tools to address these challenges and improve your well-being.

You’ll gain skills to tackle:

• Harsh self-judgment and feelings of unworthiness

• Fear of making mistakes, rejection, or disapproval

• Procrastination and excessive worrying

• Risk-aversion and self-sacrifice

• Rigid rules about needing to be perfect or put others first

• Difficulty saying no, setting boundaries, and making requests

• Struggles with time management and setting realistic goals

• A fragile sense of self based on external validation

Through mindfulness, values-driven action, and self-compassion, you’ll learn how to acknowledge and accept difficult thoughts and emotions, gain clarity on what matters most, and live more authentically. This group will help you break free from limiting patterns and build a healthier, more balanced life.
