Description
If you have had a difficult school year and worried about how to start the next school year off right, this group is made for you. We will focus on developing practical skills to cope with anxiety while also getting organized in our thoughts and acts. Through the guidance of a trained professional and the support of peers in a similar situation, we will grow and overcome obstacles which held us back the year before. We will used evidenced based practices (like CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing) and learn to use them in the "real world". This group will begin June 16th and run through the end of July. Nathali is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Heling Rhode Clinical Services. Nathali is a bilingual clinician who has worked extensively with families facing many challenges due to social inequality and systematic failure. Nathali approaches clients and families in a holistic way to provide effective treatment and connections to resources for increased problem solving. Nathali specializes in trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-injurious behavior, behavioral problems, and family conflict. Nathali utilizes the strengths of her clients along with evidence-based treatment approaches such as solution focused therapy, CBT, crisis intervention, art therapy, and solution focused therapy in her sessions to provide the most effective treatment possible. Nathali believes that everyone should have the opportunity to work towards meaningful change in order to unlock their full potential. Nathali's goal is to help individuals find their purpose and to find their voice.
