CBT Skills for Relapse Prevention

Description

CBT Skills for Relapse Prevention is a 16 week program designed to help individuals identify triggers, manage urges/cravings, and change behavior. Each week, group members will learn a new skill to further their recovery. Behavioral commitments are made at the end of group and members support one another in helping achieve their goals.

Group content is largely based on the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy model for Substance Use Disorders but also integrates some skills from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Clients also learn effective coping strategies that feel authentic to their needs and personalities, all in a calm, nonjudgmental environment that welcomes openness in thought and feeling.
