Cultivating Confidence: Building Better Selves Together

Description

This 8-week group offers a supportive space to explore low self-esteem, learn techniques to challenge negative self-perceptions, and develop skills for building lasting confidence and self-worth.

The Confidence Collective is open to adults (18+) struggling with low self-esteem who are ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Each weekly 60-minute session combines psycho-education, group discussions, and practical exercises. Participants will learn cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and interpersonal skills to boost self-esteem. Between sessions, members complete homework assignments to reinforce learning and track progress. The group provides a safe, confidential environment where individuals can share experiences, offer mutual support, and practice new skills.

To join, participants must complete a brief screening interview to ensure group readiness and compatibility. No prior therapy experience is required, but a willingness to engage in self-reflection and group participation is essential. As a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy and group facilitation, I bring expertise in self-esteem issues and a compassionate approach to guiding individuals through this transformative process. My background includes specialized training in self-compassion techniques and strength-based interventions, equipping me to lead this group effectively.
