Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group (Providence & North Kingstown)

Description

You may feel disconnected from your feelings, or you may feel overwhelmed by intense emotions. In our DBT group, you will learn many skills in the four categories of mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. These skills help you to identify and manage your emotions, participate fully in the present moment, tolerate difficult situations, and improve interactions with your friends, family, and colleagues.

RICBT therapists are dedicated to helping clients develop a toolbox of strategies that will foster positive change and progress towards life goals.

RICBT takes a team approach to tackle difficult emotional, behavioral, and mental challenges. Therapists have a wide range of specializations, including: ADHD, anger, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, grief, pain, relationships, sleep, smoking, and weight.
