Description
Nichole guides meditations based on her own 10 years of practice and her training as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher. This free monthly meditation is a chance to renew your practice and gather with others who are integrating mindfulness into their day to day life.
We will have time for brief introductions followed by a practice guided by Nichole. Attend as many as suits you and fits your schedule.
No meeting in June or July 2023- recorded practice will be provided to those registered.
This is not a therapy group, but a way to practice mindfulness and get to know Nichole and her work.
Group Therapist
Nichole Moorman is trained as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified EMDR Therapist, Certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher, with a private practice based out of Ridgway, CO specializing in helping those struggling with burnout, anxiety, anger, stress, and mood issues. She is licensed to offer psychotherapy to residents of OH and CO. Nichole offers digital resources, in person and online group and one to one programs.
She has been learning and teaching Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for the last 13 years, and over the last nine years has engaged in the rigorous training required to earn certification as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)Teacher via Brown University and EMDR Therapist Certification via EMDRIA. She is staying up to date on options for psychedelic assisted psychotherapy and partners with Journey Clinical to offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).
Nichole orients her work toward big-hearted, hard working men and women who have a secret desire to heal and grow so they can show up fully in their families, with friends, and in their communities. She helps individuals to quickly uncover internal resources and gently untangle sources of stress using a tailored combination of DBT, EMDR, MBSR, and KAP interventions.
Nichole’s extensive training, deep presence, and calming spirit infuse all of her offerings- digital resources, Healing and Resilience with Mindfulness therapy programs, retreats, and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. She invites you to take your next small (ahem, hardest) step to peace, confidence, and feeling like yourself again (or for the very first time).
