Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an internationally recognized, evidence-based course designed to guide and support participants in the ongoing process of cultivating moment to moment awareness in day to day life in an in-depth and systematic way. Healing and Resilience with Mindfulness combines the MBSR curriculum with 2 follow up groups after completion of the 8 week course, email support in between classes, and supportive course materials via the online class portal. Nichole is an experienced and well trained guide. Well equipped to meet you where you are at and help you to dive into your mindfulness practice even more. Adding individual therapy sessions allows us to tailor your program even more.

The curriculum is trauma informed and Nichole stays up to date on research to teach the course in an evidence informed and trauma sensitive way.

For those who bring mindfulness into their professional work, this course can be an excellent way to continue on your mindfulness training journey.

This course is highly experiential, provides robust support, and is a community learning environment. We are learning from the inside out. You will come out of the program with stress reduction tools and insights into your stress cycles (vulnerability, recognition, reacting, responding, and recovering).

Individual coaching or therapy sessions with Nichole can be added as you desire. The weekly class are via Zoom and the Daylong class will be online, with an in person option in Ridgway, CO.

Fall 2023 Cohort:

Meet weekly Tuesday evenings September 12- October 31 4:00pm-6:00pm ST (30 min more if over 6 students) ONLINE

Daylong class Oct 21, 9:00-3:30pm MST online and in person option in Ridgway, CO

Plan for 30 minutes home practice on non class days- this is a very important part of the class!

Follow up sessions November 14 & 28 4-5pm MST

Additional individual sessions are 60 minutes $120. Televideo and in person sessions available. May be insurance eligible.

Once you register for the course, you will receive a follow up email from Nichole with onboarding forms and an option to add individual sessions.

Group Therapist

Nichole Moorman is trained as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified EMDR Therapist, Certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher, with a private practice based out of Ridgway, CO specializing in helping those struggling with burnout, anxiety, anger, stress, and mood issues. She is licensed to offer psychotherapy to residents of OH and CO. Nichole offers digital resources, in person and online group and one to one programs.

She has been learning and teaching Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for the last 13 years, and over the last nine years has engaged in the rigorous training required to earn certification as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)Teacher via Brown University and EMDR Therapist Certification via EMDRIA. She is staying up to date on options for psychedelic assisted psychotherapy and partners with Journey Clinical to offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).

Nichole orients her work toward big-hearted, hard working men and women who have a secret desire to heal and grow so they can show up fully in their families, with friends, and in their communities. She helps individuals to quickly uncover internal resources and gently untangle sources of stress using a tailored combination of DBT, EMDR, MBSR, and KAP interventions.

Nichole’s extensive training, deep presence, and calming spirit infuse all of her offerings- digital resources, Healing and Resilience with Mindfulness therapy programs, retreats, and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. She invites you to take your next small (ahem, hardest) step to peace, confidence, and feeling like yourself again (or for the very first time).
