A space to vent. A space to listen. A space to be unapologetically you. This group aims to amplify queer voices and build community. A typical session will include ice breakers, group check in, and discussion or activity on the chosen topic for that week (decided by the group!).
I have 4 years of therapeutic experience working with LGBTQIA+ folks in an individual and group setting. As a queer person myself, I always look forward to learning and growing from others in the community.
*REGISTRATION INFO*
All members will be asked to schedule a brief intro call with me prior to the first group. In this call, my only goal is to get to know you and what you hope to get out of group!
$200 fee includes all group sessions in this series.
Group Therapist
Elizabeth Crowell is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Rhode Island & Massachusetts, mainly working with adults (18+). She strives to provide a safe space for those processing anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. Elizabeth has personal and professional experiences with the LGBTQIA+ community. She has lengthy experience providing support to those who are navigating their gender and sexuality, affirming their journey along the way. In addition, Elizabeth has a special interest in working with adults who were diagnosed with ADHD later in life.
Elizabeth has a client centered approach to treatment, meaning she will work collaboratively with you to provide care that is best tailored for your needs. She believes the therapeutic space is unique to each individual and aims to help clients identify their specific needs.
Elizabeth attended Rhode Island College for her Bachelors and Masters degree and is currently completing her Doctoral degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Clinical Social Work.
