This group was designed within the Integral Model to specifically to focus on the practice of the mindfulness skills such as grounding, breathe, voice dialogue techniques and other mindfulness skills. Each session is dedicated to helping you develop your own practice plan, two mindfulness practice sessions, and 1-2 topics for your consideration and support.
Todd Schmenk is a mental health counselor specializing in the treatment of anxiety-related issues. His focus areas include general anxiety, panic attacks, chronic health conditions, couples counseling, and performance anxiety.
Todd previously worked as an elementary school teacher, health educator, business wellness consultant and manager, and most recently, as a counselor at Bay Coast Behavioral and his private practice, AQAL Therapies.
Todd's approach is integrally informed, pulling from a variety of tools including Applied Behavioral Analysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy, supported by a strong focus in neuroscience, mindfulness and active lifestyle modification plans.
