Description
This group will meet weekly on either a Saturday or Sunday morning, depending on the availability of those interested. Throughout the meetings, participants will learn new mindfulness skills, some of the "why" behind these skills, and how to implement these skills in real life. This group is best for those who are seeing a clinician and are looking to gain new skills. There will be a mandatory screening meeting prior to the first meeting.
A lot of time we learn all these skills in the therapy room but have a hard time implementing them at home; this group will focus on making all these skills realistic and doable in our daily lives to create space for more peace in the chaos of our day-to-day lives.
