Description
Are you a new mom and feeling isolated, overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed? Do you find yourself feeling distant from friends who don't have kids but are having a hard time connecting with moms or finding new mom friends? With the constant demands of an infant and the rest of your energy often going to your partner or your job, your own mental health might be a forgotten priority in this time of life. Our hope is that this therapist-led support group offers new moms a much-needed space to feel heard, understood, and connected to other moms. Pre-mobile babies welcome! Online attendance options are also available.

CALM counseling believes that self-improvement and meaningful change are within your reach. We help clients of all ages to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and pursue a life that is more intentional. We also believe that hope is such an important piece of the puzzle- so we work to cultivate and maintain this along the way.
Our skilled clinicians work with clients on body image, relationship issues, fertility concerns, and parenting. Additionally, all of our therapists have training in working with eating disorders. We take a relational approach to the work-meaning we think establishing a close working relationship is a healing experience. By taking a relational stance, we work towards understanding attachment styles and other family of origin issues in order to explore how attachment wounds show up in other parts of our life.
